Manufacturing Terminology & Help
A layman's guide to understanding the modules and pages within the system.
Core Navigation
Dashboard
The command center. Shows a bird's-eye view of factory health, machine efficiency (OEE), and production yields.
Inventory (Items)
The master list of everything you handle: raw ingredients, parts, and the final products you sell.
Production Orders
The 'Work Ticket'. Tells the factory floor exactly what to make, how many to make, and the deadline.
BOM (Bill of Materials)
The ultimate 'Recipe'. It lists every ingredient needed and the exact steps (routing) to make one unit of a product.
Quality Plans
The rulebook. A checklist of tests and measurements a product must pass to be considered good.
Reports
Spreadsheets, charts, and historical data to help management understand past performance and costs.
AI Insights
The smart assistant. Uses your factory data to predict machine breakdowns, suggest optimizations, and explain cost spikes.
Config
Factory settings. Where you define machines (Work Centres), work shifts, holidays, and standard hourly costs.
Operations & Tracking
Material Issues
The act of taking raw ingredients out of the warehouse and moving them to the factory floor to start building.
WIP (Work In Progress)
Tracks half-finished products as they sit between machines or wait for the next step in the process.
Wastage
The logbook for broken parts or scrapped materials that got ruined during the manufacturing process.
FG Receipts
Finished Goods Receipts. The final step of delivering the perfectly completed products into the warehouse to be sold.
Quality Management
Inspection Orders
The actual event of a worker testing a batch of products against the rules defined in the Quality Plan.
NCR (Non-Conformance)
An 'incident report' created when a product fails its quality test. It documents what went wrong.
CAPA
Corrective and Preventive Actions. The formal 'fix-it' plan created by management to ensure an NCR defect never happens again.
